Terms of Service

1. Introduction

OvO.games (“OvO”, the “App” or the “Services”) is a casual game platform operated by GEN A LIMITED (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company incorporated in Hong Kong. The Services include the OvO apps for iPhone, iPad and Android phones, tablets and foldables, our website at ovo.games, and every game, level, event and feature available through them.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and GEN A LIMITED. By playing, creating an account or buying anything in the Services you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Who can use OvO

OvO is made for a general audience of teens and adults. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age at which you can consent to online services in your country (for example 16 in some EU countries, or under 16 in Vietnam), you may only use the Services with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

Purchases require the permission of the person who owns the payment method. Parents can use the parental controls offered by Apple (Ask to Buy, Screen Time) and Google (Family Link, purchase approvals) to control spending.

OvO is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If we learn that a child under 13 is using an account, we will close it and delete the associated data.

3. Your account

• You can start playing as a guest. Guest progress is stored on your device and on our servers under an anonymous identifier. If you uninstall the App or clear your browser data before signing in, guest progress may be lost.
• You can sign in with Apple or Google to save progress, tokens and OvO Pass across all your devices. Your use of those providers is governed by their own terms.
• When you sign in on a device that already has guest progress, we merge the guest progress into your account.
• One person, one account. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your Apple or Google login secure.
• Your username and status line are public to other players. Usernames must follow the Community & Fair Play Guidelines; we may reset a username that does not.
• Accounts, tokens, OvOs and progress are personal to you. You may not sell, rent, share or transfer them.

4. What OvO provides

OvO is a single home for quick puzzle games that are free to play. The Services currently include:

We regularly add, change and retire games, levels, events and features. We do not promise that any particular game, level or feature will stay available. Where a change materially reduces something you have paid for and are still paying for, we will give you reasonable notice under section 15.

5. OvO tokens

5.1 What tokens are

OvO tokens (the golden eggs) are OvO’s only virtual currency. Tokens are a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use features inside the Services. Tokens are not money, not a deposit, not a stored-value instrument and not a cryptocurrency. They have no value outside the Services and can never be exchanged, sold or cashed out for money or anything of real-world value.

5.2 Getting tokens

• Earned: stars on levels, the daily egg, daily missions, streak chests, medals, weekly leagues and tournaments, player level-ups, inviting friends, optional rewarded videos, and the monthly bonus included with OvO Pass.
• Bought: token packs sold in the App at the prices shown at the time of purchase. Prices vary by country, platform and tax.

5.3 Using tokens

Tokens can be spent on boosters (for example hints, undo, shuffle, hammer, extra moves, continues), skipping a level, unlocking the next batch of levels in a game, and adopting OvOs. The price is always shown before you confirm.

5.4 Expiry, changes and corrections

• Tokens do not expire while your account is active. Tokens in an account closed by you or by us are forfeited.
• We may change token prices, rewards and what tokens can be used for. Rebalancing is not a refund event.
• We may correct balances affected by a bug, and remove tokens obtained through error, fraud, automation, multiple accounts or any manipulation of the Services.
• If a store refunds a token purchase, the corresponding tokens are removed from your balance.

6. OvO Pass subscription

OvO Pass is an optional auto-renewing subscription. Everything in OvO can be played for free with ads; OvO Pass adds comfort and extras. Its benefits currently include:

• every level in every game, including levels beyond the free range;
• no ads (no banner, native, interstitial or app-open ads; rewarded videos are not needed);
• a monthly token bonus (500 tokens on monthly and yearly plans, 120 per week on the weekly plan);
• the daily egg reward doubled automatically, 3 free hints every day and a Streak Shield twice a month;
• a fourth daily mission, entry to the OvO Pass Weekly Tournament, new games up to 7 days early, and Pass-exclusive OvOs and profile frame.

6.1 Plans and prices

The price in your currency, including tax, is shown on the purchase screen before you confirm, and that is the price you pay. Prices and plans may differ between countries and platforms and may change under section 6.4.

6.2 Where you can subscribe

When you are signed in, your OvO Pass works on every device where you use the same account, whichever store you bought it from. You manage billing only with the store or processor you bought it from.

6.3 Auto-renewal, trials and cancellation

• Payment is charged to your store account or card when you confirm the purchase (or when a free trial ends).
• Your subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
• If you start a free trial, you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Free trials are limited to one per person.
• Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep OvO Pass until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the App or your account does not cancel a store subscription.
• If a renewal payment fails, the store or processor may retry; your Pass benefits pause until payment succeeds.

6.4 Changes to OvO Pass

We may change what OvO Pass includes or its price. We will notify you at least 30 days before a price increase takes effect at your next renewal, and where the law or the store requires your consent, we or the store will ask for it. You can cancel before the change applies.

7. Games, levels and progress

• Level games have a free range of levels (currently levels 1–40 in each game). Later levels can be unlocked with OvO Pass or, in batches, with tokens.
• Levels are designed and checked to be solvable. Difficulty varies and may be adjusted over time.
• Scores, stars and ranks are validated by our servers. We may remove results that are impossible, automated or produced by exploiting a bug.
• Some games, levels, events and art are created with the help of AI tools and are reviewed before release (see section 10).

8. Leaderboards, leagues and tournaments

Weekly leagues, leaderboards, friend challenges, the daily challenge and the OvO Pass Weekly Tournament are games of skill played for fun. Prizes are OvO tokens, medals, OvOs and cosmetic items only. They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money. There is no entry fee other than the OvO Pass subscription for the Pass tournament, and no prize of real-world value is offered. 9. Advertising

Free play is supported by advertising from Google AdMob (apps) and Google AdSense (web). Ads are never shown during a level. Rewarded videos are always optional and are clearly marked. OvO Pass members see no ads. Your advertising choices are explained in the Privacy Policy.

10. Content, AI and intellectual property

10.1 Our content

The Services — including the OvO name and logo, the OvO characters, games, levels, art, sounds, music, software and all content we provide — are owned by or licensed to GEN A LIMITED and protected by intellectual property law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms. You may share screenshots and short gameplay clips for non-commercial purposes.

10.2 AI-assisted content

We use AI tools (including models from Anthropic) to help design games and levels, draw art, write copy and run operations such as scheduling daily missions and answering support emails. Our team sets the rules these tools work within and reviews releases. AI-assisted content may occasionally contain mistakes; please tell us at support@gena.studio if something looks wrong.

10.3 Your content

The only content you add to OvO is your username, your status line and reports or feedback you send us. You keep any rights you have in it and give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display it within the Services for as long as it is there. Status lines may not contain links, e-mail addresses or phone numbers; we remove them automatically.

10.4 Copyright complaints

If you believe something in OvO infringes your rights, email support@gena.studio with the subject “Copyright”, identifying the work, where it appears in OvO, your contact details and a statement that your notice is accurate and made in good faith.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• cheat, use bots, scripts, emulators, modified clients or automation, or exploit bugs to gain scores, ranks, tokens or rewards;
• create or use multiple accounts to farm rewards, manipulate leagues, invite rewards or leaderboards;
• reverse engineer, decompile, scrape or interfere with the Services, our games or our servers;
• buy, sell or trade accounts, tokens or items outside the Services;
• use offensive, hateful, sexual or misleading usernames or status lines, or impersonate others;
• harass other players or abuse the friend, challenge or report features;
• use the Services for any unlawful purpose.

12. Enforcement, suspension and termination

You can appeal a decision within 30 days by writing to support@gena.studio. We aim to reply within 7 business days.

You can delete your account at any time in Me → Settings → Delete account, or by emailing support@gena.studio. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription and does not entitle you to a refund. On termination, your licence to use the Services ends and remaining tokens and items are forfeited. Sections 10, 14, 16, 17 and 18 survive termination.

13. Availability and updates

Some features need an internet connection. We update the App and games regularly and may require you to install an update to keep playing. We may suspend the Services for maintenance and we may stop offering the Services in a country. If we shut OvO down entirely, we will give at least 30 days’ notice and handle any remaining paid subscription period as the store or processor allows or as the law requires.

14. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY GAME, LEVEL, PRICE OR FEATURE WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GEN A LIMITED IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROGRESS, TOKENS OR ITEMS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 90 DAYS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE AND (B) HKD 500.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you in the App or by email at least 14 days before they take effect and update the Effective date above. If you keep using the Services after that date, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the Services and delete your account before then. The current version is always at ovo.games/legal/terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep any right you have to rely on the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live and to bring proceedings there.

Please contact us first: most problems are solved quickly at support@gena.studio. We ask that you give us 30 days to resolve a complaint before starting formal proceedings.

17. Apple and Google

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these Terms are between you and GEN A LIMITED, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content and have no obligation to provide support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Where these Terms conflict with Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement on a matter it governs, these Terms apply to the extent permitted.

18. General

• Entire agreement: these Terms and the documents that form part of them are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services.
• Severability: if a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
• No waiver: not enforcing a provision is not a waiver.
• Assignment: you may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them to an affiliate or a successor on notice.
• Force majeure: we are not responsible for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
• Language: these Terms are written in English. Translations are for convenience; if they differ, the English version controls unless local law says otherwise.
