Community & Fair Play Guidelines
How to be a good OvO neighbour: usernames, status lines, friends, challenges, and keeping every leaderboard fair.
Effective: October 15, 2026 · Version 1.0 · GEN A LIMITED
1. Introduction
OvO is a friendly place to play. There is no chat, but players see each other’s usernames, status lines, avatars and scores, and compete in leagues. These guidelines keep that fun for everyone. They are part of the Terms of Service.
2. Usernames and status lines
- Keep them friendly. No hate, harassment, sexual content, violence, drugs, slurs or swear words, in any language or spelling.
- Do not impersonate other players, OvO staff, celebrities or brands.
- No contact details, links, social handles or advertising. We remove URLs, email addresses and phone numbers automatically.
- Do not share personal information about yourself or anyone else.
3. Friends and challenges
- Only send friend requests and challenges to people who want them. Do not spam requests.
- You can remove a friend at any time. Reporting is available from any profile card.
- Do not use challenges, usernames or statuses to bully, threaten or pressure anyone.
4. Fair play
Every score, rank and reward must be earned by playing. The following are not allowed:
- bots, auto-clickers, scripts, macros, emulators used to automate play, modified apps or memory editors;
- exploiting bugs or glitches to get scores, tokens or rewards — please report them instead;
- multiple accounts, account sharing, or playing on someone else’s account to boost ranks;
- coordinating with others to manipulate leagues, tournaments or invite rewards;
- buying, selling or trading accounts, tokens or items outside OvO.
Boosters bought with tokens are part of the game and are allowed. They never change how a leaderboard score is calculated.
5. Reporting bugs and exploits
Found a bug that gives an unfair advantage? Email support@gena.studio with the subject “Bug”. Players who report exploits in good faith and do not abuse them are never penalised, and may be thanked with tokens.
6. What happens when rules are broken
Depending on severity: username reset, result removal, reward reversal, competition ban, temporary suspension (24 hours to 30 days) or permanent termination. Automated systems help detect cheating; significant penalties are reviewed by a person. You can appeal within 30 days at support@gena.studio.
