Quick answer

The Peek Seek release date is Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 01:00 UTC on OvO.games. Peek Seek is a free minesweeper-style logic puzzle with Peek, the hide-and-seek OvO: tap grass tufts to peek, read the numbers and find every sleeping egg without waking one. It will play in the web browser on phones and computers.

Peek Seek level 14 on a computer: a meadow of numbered tiles and grass tufts, three tufts with green leaf markers, Peek in his eggshell at the top and the Peek, Hint and Restart bar below
A level 14 meadow on a computer, with three sure eggs already marked.

Peek Seek is an upcoming logic puzzle on OvO.games built around one idea: some tufts in the meadow hide sleeping eggs, and the numbers tell you where. There is no timer and no guessing, because every meadow can be solved by logic alone. Until it opens, the game page shows it as coming soon. Here is when it arrives, how a meadow works and what you can play for free.

What is Peek Seek?

Peek Seek level 14 on a phone: numbered open tiles on the right, grass tufts still closed on the left, one green leaf marker, three hearts and Peek in his eggshell at the top
Open tiles show numbers; the grass tufts on the left are still unpeeked.

Peek Seek is a no-guess logic puzzle in the minesweeper family, starring Peek, the nosy OvO who watches everything from inside a cracked shell. Each level is a meadow of grass tufts, and some of them hide sleeping eggs. Tap a tuft to peek under it. If it is safe, a number shows how many sleeping eggs sit in the 8 tufts around it. An open tile with no number has no eggs next to it, and it opens its neighbours by itself. Peek every safe tuft and the meadow is cleared. Peek at an egg, though, and it wakes up with a peep, which costs one of your three hearts. Your first tuft always opens for free, and every meadow can be solved from there by logic, so you never have to guess. There are 300 meadows, from small 5×5 gardens to big 8×11 fields with rocks.

How do you play Peek Seek?

You play with taps on a phone or with the mouse on a computer. There is no timer, so you can look at a number for as long as you like before you move. At the top, a counter next to Peek shows how many eggs still have no leaf, beside your hearts and tokens. On a keyboard, the arrow keys move a cursor, Space or Enter peeks, F puts down a leaf and R restarts the meadow.

  1. Peek Seek level 14 on a phone: two tufts carry green leaf markers between numbers 1 and 2, the egg counter reads 3 and a tip card sits above the meadowStep 1: Mark a sure egg with a leaf: hold the tuft, right-click it on a computer, or switch the button at the bottom from Peek to Leaf and tap. A tuft with a leaf can't be peeked by accident.
  2. Peek Seek level 14 on a phone: three leaf markers placed, more numbered tiles open on the left side, the egg counter at 2 and all three hearts still fullStep 2: When a number already has as many leaves around it as it shows, tap the number. Every other tuft around it is safe, and they all open at once.
  3. Peek Seek level 14 on a phone: almost the whole meadow is open, four leaf markers sit on sure eggs and only three grass tufts are left in the bottom rowStep 3: Peek the last safe tufts to clear the meadow. You get your stars and tokens, then go on to the next level or replay this one.

Is Peek Seek free, and how do hearts, stars and hints work?

Peek Seek level 15 on a phone, marked Chill: a smaller meadow of five columns and six rows, confetti falling over the top row, three hearts and the egg counter at 3
Level 15 is a chill meadow, with confetti from the last win still falling.

Yes, Peek Seek is free to play in the browser. From level 41, the levels are for OvO Pass, the optional OvO.games membership that unlocks every level, removes banners and break ads and gives you 500 tokens a month. Each meadow gives you three hearts. Wake an egg and you lose one. Run out and you can keep going with one more heart for 20 tokens or a short video, or simply try again. Stars show how clean your run was: three with no wakes and no hints, two with one slip. A hint costs 10 tokens. It first lifts a leaf you put in the wrong place, otherwise it shows a tuft that is surely safe or surely an egg. Restart is always free. Every 10th level is a harder meadow and every 5th a lighter chill one, rocks reshape the meadow from level 25, and there is a daily meadow too.

Tips for your first meadows

Start from the free opening, because the numbers on its edge tell you the most. A 1 that touches only one hidden tuft is easy: that tuft is an egg, so leaf it. Corners help too, since a corner number touches only three tufts. Learn two edge patterns early. In a 1-2-1 along an edge, the eggs sit under the two 1s and the tuft under the 2 is safe. In a 1-2-2-1, the eggs sit under the two 2s. Rocks never hide eggs and are not counted, so a number next to a rock simply touches fewer tufts. When you feel stuck, check the egg counter: if it equals the hidden tufts left, they are all eggs, and at 0 the rest are all safe. Above all, don't guess. If you can't see a sure move, a hint will show you one.
