OvO Jigsaw: what it is, how to play and when it comes out

When does OvO Jigsaw come out?

OvO Jigsaw is scheduled for Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 01:00 UTC. That is 08:00 in Vietnam and the evening of Monday, October 26 in the Americas. Until then its game page on ovo.games shows it as coming soon, and you can tap Notify me there to hear the moment it goes live. On release day it joins the Logic category next to the other OvO puzzles. It runs in a web browser on a phone, tablet or computer and inside the OvO.games app, so there is nothing extra to install. It is made for holding your phone upright, and on a wide screen the piece tray moves to the side of the board.

What is OvO Jigsaw?

It is a classic jigsaw with a soft, relaxed pace. Each level cuts a painted scene from the OvO world into pieces with round tabs and blanks, and you rebuild it. Pixel, the painter OvO, keeps you company at the top of the screen. There are 16 pictures, with names like Spring Picnic, Island Sailing, Pumpkin Patch, Night Market and Snow Day, and the 300 levels go through them again and again in a new order each round. Puzzles begin with 9 big pieces and slowly grow to 100. There is no way to fail a level: your time and whether you used help only decide your stars. Every picture you finish is added to your picture gallery.

How do you play OvO Jigsaw?

A level takes a few relaxed minutes. The board shows a faint guide of the finished picture, and the pieces wait in a tray under it.

1. 1Step 1: Drag a piece from the tray up onto the picture. When it is close to its spot it snaps in, and the counter at the top goes up by one.
2. 2Step 2: Swipe the tray sideways to see more pieces. Corners and straight edges are the easiest place to start, so look for pieces with a flat side.
3. 3Step 3: Keep filling in from the border toward the middle, matching colours like the blue sea. The level is done when every piece is in place, and the finished picture joins your gallery.

What helps when you are stuck?

Four buttons sit under the tray. Peek shows the whole picture for a moment and is free. Edges is free too and moves the border pieces to the front of the tray. Place one puts a piece in its spot for you and costs a few tokens. Restart starts the level again. In Settings you can also switch the faint picture guide on or off. Later levels add twist levels, where some pieces in the tray are turned and you tap a piece to turn it upright before it fits. Every tenth level is a hard one with more pieces and no picture guide, and every fifth level is a lighter breather. On a computer you can also play with the keyboard: left and right pick a piece, R turns it and Enter drops it.

Is OvO Jigsaw free to play?

Yes. Of its 300 levels, the first 30 are free for everyone, and the optional OvO Pass unlocks the rest. There is also a daily puzzle and a Challenge a friend button, and the menus come in English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. If you sign in, your progress follows you from one device to another. Peek and Edges stay free on every level.
