When does Pixel Peeps come out?

Pixel Peeps is scheduled for Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 01:00 UTC. That is 08:00 in Vietnam, and the evening of Wednesday, October 21 in the Americas. Until then its game page on ovo.games shows it as coming soon, and Notify me there tells you the moment it is live. It will sit in the Logic category. You can play it in a web browser on a computer, tablet or phone, or in the OvO.games app on iPhone, iPad and Android, in portrait or landscape. It comes in five languages: English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese and Korean.

What is Pixel Peeps?

Pixel Peeps is a nonogram game. Each level is a grid of squares with numbers along the sides. The numbers tell you how many filled squares run together in that row or column, in order, so a row marked 2 2 holds two runs of two with at least one gap between them. Work out every filled square and a hidden picture appears in colour. Some pictures are simple motifs such as a heart, a mushroom or a house; many are pixel portraits of the OvOs, and each one you finish goes into an album of all 36. Grids start at 5 by 5 and grow through 8, 10 and 12 up to 15 by 15. Every puzzle has exactly one answer, and you can always reach it with logic alone, no guessing.

How do you play Pixel Peeps?

Read the clues, fill what you can prove, cross what must stay empty, and let each line help the next.

1. 1Step 1: Start with the biggest numbers. A 5 in a 5-wide row fills the whole row, and a 3 in a 5-wide row always fills the middle square. Tap a square to fill it, or drag along a row to fill a run in one stroke.
2. 2Step 2: Switch to Cross mode (or right-click on a computer) to mark squares that must stay empty. Crosses show the next lines where a run cannot go.
3. 3Step 3: Go back and forth between rows and columns. Each square you fill gives the crossing line a new starting point. A finished line greys out its numbers and crosses its empty squares for you.
4. 4Step 4: Watch your hearts. A wrong square is corrected on the spot but costs one of three hearts. If you want to practise without that pressure, turn on Relaxed mode in Settings.

Is Pixel Peeps free to play?

Yes. Pixel Peeps is free to play, and the first 40 of its 300 levels are free for everyone. The optional OvO Pass unlocks the rest. Hint costs 10 tokens and fills or crosses one square that line logic can prove, so it never guesses for you. If you run out of hearts, you can refill them for 20 tokens or simply try again for free, and Restart is always free. There is a daily puzzle and a friend challenge too, each with a random OvO or motif to uncover.
