When does Pin Rescue come out?

Pin Rescue is scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 01:00 UTC. That is 08:00 in Vietnam, and the evening of Monday, October 19 in the Americas. Until then its game page on ovo.games shows it as coming soon, and you can tap Notify me there to hear the moment it goes live. On release day it appears in the Logic category next to the other OvO puzzles. It runs in a web browser on a computer, tablet or phone, and inside the OvO.games app, so there is nothing extra to install. If you sign in, your progress follows you, so you can start on a laptop and keep going on your phone later.

What is Pin Rescue?

Pin Rescue is a pull-the-pin puzzle set in a glass tower above a straw nest. The tower is split into chambers, and the floor of each chamber is a golden pin. Inside the chambers wait egg babies, blobs of lava, water, rocks and sometimes a grumpy plum-coloured critter. When you pull a pin, whatever was resting on it tumbles down. The goal is simple to say and fun to work out: every egg must end up in the nest, safe and sound. The order matters, because the same pins pulled in a different order can leave the eggs stuck with no safe way home. Levels start with one pin and grow into taller towers with up to three shafts.

How do you play Pin Rescue?

Each level is a short logic chain. Read the tower from top to bottom before your first tap, then pull the pins one at a time.

1. 1Step 1: Look at what sits on every pin. Eggs, rocks and water roll and slide when they fall, while critters drop straight down. Find the pin that is safe to pull first.
2. 2Step 2: Deal with the danger first. Water poured onto lava cools it into stone, and a rock landing on a critter chases it off. Once the nest is safe, the eggs can come down.
3. 3Step 3: Pull the last pin and let the eggs roll home. When everything is at rest and every egg is in the nest, the level is won and the counter at the top fills up.
4. 4Step 4: Aim for three stars. You earn them by winning without Undo or Hint and using about as few pins as the level needs. Restart is always free if a plan goes wrong.

Is Pin Rescue free to play?

Yes. Pin Rescue is free to play with ads, and the first 40 of its 300 levels are free for everyone. The optional OvO Pass unlocks the rest and removes ads. Two helpers cost tokens: Hint (10 tokens) glows the first pin of the shortest win from where you are, and Undo (15 tokens) puts the last pin back, which is handy when a wrong pull ruins a board. Restart and Try again are free. There is also a daily puzzle and a friend challenge, so you can come back for a fresh board each day.
