How Nest Express works

Tap an OvO that has a clear path to the street. If its colour matches the waiting vehicle and a seat is free, it boards. Otherwise it sits on the bench.

Vehicles come in three sizes: minis seat 3, buses seat 6 and double-deckers seat 9. A full vehicle drives off and the next one pulls in, and bench OvOs of the new vehicle's colour hop on first. The ride ends when the bench is full and no reachable OvO matches the vehicle.

Read the queue before you tap

The vehicle queue tells you what colours you will need next. Before sending an OvO to the bench, check whether its colour is coming up soon. If it is, benching it is fine, because it will board as soon as that vehicle pulls in. If its colour is far away, that OvO may sit on the bench for a long time and eat into your safety margin.

Clear paths to the OvOs you will need

Often the right OvO for the current vehicle is stuck behind others. In that case, think about which tap opens the path with the least damage. Moving an OvO whose colour matches an upcoming vehicle is ideal, because it will clear the bench soon. Moving one whose colour is not coming for a while is a last resort.

VIP and mystery OvOs

Two special OvOs change the plan. Crowned VIP OvOs only wait on the bench for a few moves: every other OvO that sits on the bench costs them patience. Board VIPs quickly, and avoid benching extra OvOs while a VIP is waiting.

Mystery OvOs hide their colour until they have a way out. Freeing the path to a mystery OvO early gives you information while you still have bench space to react.

Stars and difficulty

You earn stars for keeping the bench clear, so the cleanest solutions are also the best scoring. There are 200 levels with a calmer level every 5th and a hard one every 10th. On hard levels, plan around the bigger vehicles: a double-decker needs nine OvOs of one colour, so make sure you can reach enough of them before it arrives.

Boosters

Nest Express has Shuffle, Hammer and Continue boosters. Shuffle and Hammer help when the crowd is badly tangled, and Continue gives you another chance when the bench fills. As with other OvO.games puzzles, try a level twice with a different plan before spending OvO Tokens on boosters.
