When does OvO Inn come out?

OvO Inn is set to open on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 01:00 UTC. That is 08:00 on November 5 in Vietnam, 09:00 in Singapore and Hong Kong, and 10:00 in Japan and Korea. In the United States it arrives the evening before: 8 pm Eastern or 5 pm Pacific on Wednesday, November 4. Until then OvO Inn sits in the New & coming soon row on the OvO.games home page. Tap its tile to turn on Notify. If you are signed in, the reminder is saved to your account and the OvO app sends you a message on launch day. From launch day you can play it straight away in the browser, with nothing to install.

What is OvO Inn?

OvO Inn is a cosy inn tycoon game, the calm kind of management game where the inn keeps running even when you are not playing. Latte, the innkeeper OvO, runs the reception desk. Guests arrive and wait in line, you give each one a room, and they stay for a while before they check out. The island has 9 plots to build on and three room tiers: Straw huts, Wood cabins and VIP suites, with three themes for each tier, such as Beach hut, Book nook or Starry suite. Days turn into nights, and at night the guests sleep. Each OvO is added to the guestbook the first time they check in. The guestbook has a page for all 36, and higher room tiers bring rarer guests. As your inn level goes up with XP, new plots and room tiers open, and each level-up gives you 2 gems.

How do you play OvO Inn?

Everything is done with taps, and the game plays in landscape on phones and tablets.

1. 1Step 1: Check guests in. When a guest walks up to the desk, a Tap to check in label appears. Tap the OvO and they walk to the best free room by themselves. A ring next to a waiting guest shows how patient they are; when it turns pink, they are about to give up and leave.
2. 2Step 2: Look after their needs. A thought bubble over a guest shows what they want: a snack, a nap, music, tea, a surprise or a tidy room. Tap the bubble to take care of it. Every need you meet adds a heart, and happier guests pay more rent.
3. 3Step 3: Collect rent and grow the inn. Tap the coins that pop up over the rooms, then spend them on new rooms, upgrades and decor. Each room has three decor spots. Decor makes a room more comfortable, which raises the rent, and some pieces, like the Snack tray, Floor lamp or Record player, look after a need on their own.

Is OvO Inn free, and what does OvO Pass add?

OvO Inn is free to play in the browser and in the OvO app. Free players run their inn with Straw rooms and coin decor and can meet 12 OvOs. OvO Pass, the optional OvO.games membership, opens all 9 plots, Wood and VIP rooms, every OvO from rare to legendary, gem decor and Mochi the butler, who checks waiting guests into the best room and collects rent for you. With the Pass, rent at night is 20 percent higher and your inn keeps earning while you are away, at half the normal rent rate, for up to 4 hours instead of 2. OvO Pass also removes banners and break ads. If your Pass ends later, everything you built stays in your inn.

Tips for your first days at the inn

Every OvO has a favourite thing, shown on the room card. Put a guest in a room whose theme matches it and you get a Dream room: the guest starts happier and pays more rent. Changing a room's theme costs 20 coins, so it is worth doing when the guestbook shows OvOs you have not given a Dream room yet. Spend your first coins on decor for the rooms you have, because comfort raises the rent of every later stay. Tap thought bubbles quickly: a guest who leaves with 5 hearts pays 1.5 times the rent and adds a gem tip. Check the four daily goals each day, since finishing them opens a chest of gems and coins. Before you close the game, fill your rooms so the inn keeps earning at half rate while you are gone.
