When does Boba Blast come out?

Boba Blast is set to launch on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 01:00 UTC. That is 8:00 in the morning in Vietnam and the evening of October 28 in the Americas. Until then the game page on OvO.games shows it as coming soon. On launch day it opens in the web browser like every other OvO game, with nothing to download. The menus come in English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese and Korean.

How do you play Boba Blast, step by step?

Every level follows the same loop. These pictures are from level 12, one of the early boards with a single oval track.

1. 1Step 1: Watch where the chain goes. The pearls roll out of the pearl pot and follow the track all the way to the milk tea cup. Boba sits in the middle with a pearl loaded on his straw and the next one resting by his cup. If any pearl reaches the cup, the level is lost, so the pearls nearest the cup are the ones to watch.
2. 2Step 2: Drag to aim and let go to shoot. A dotted guide and a target ring show where the pearl will land, and the shot stops at the first pearl it touches. Aim next to one or two pearls of the same colour. If the loaded pearl has no good match, tap Boba or the Swap button to trade it for the next one. Swapping is free.
3. 3Step 3: Pop three or more and set up combos. When three or more pearls of one colour touch, they pop and the counter at the top climbs. If the pearls on both sides of the new gap share a colour, the front of the chain rolls back to meet them and they pop too, which is a combo. The level is won when every pearl is gone.

What are the power pearls and boosters?

From level 12 some pearls in the chain wear a ring. Pop a ringed pearl and you get its power. The clock is Slow, which lets the chain crawl for a few seconds. The arrows are Rewind, which rolls the chain back toward the pot. The burst pops every pearl close to it. Power pearls are earned by popping them, never bought. The dock under the board holds Freeze, which stops the chain for six seconds and is handy when the front pearls are close to the cup, plus Swap and Restart, which are both free. Freeze costs OvO Tokens. If you lose, the card can offer Continue, which rolls the chains back, or a free try again.

Tips for your first Boba Blast levels

Pop the pearls closest to the cup first, because a gap at the front stops that part of the chain until the back catches up. Look for pairs: one pearl of the same colour next to a pair pops all three. Before you shoot, check whether the pearls on both sides of a run match, since that sets up a combo. A shot hits the first pearl in its path, so aim between laps of the track instead of through them. If you are holding a colour that fits nowhere, drop it far back near the pearl pot, where it has the most time to find partners. On twin tracks, keep an eye on both cups. Fewer shots mean more stars: three stars need the level cleared within the shot count shown next to the star at the top.

What kinds of tracks and levels are there?

Boba Blast has 300 levels plus a daily puzzle. Early levels use one track shaped like a snake or a spiral with three colours of pearls. Later boards add more colours, up to six, longer and faster chains, and twin tracks with two chains and two cups. Every fifth level is a calmer breather and every tenth is a hard one. Boba reacts as you play: he cheers at a big combo and looks worried when a chain gets close to a cup.
