If you know ball sort or water sort, Chick Sort will feel familiar, only the tubes are branches and the balls are OvOs. Tap a branch to lift the run of one colour at its tip, then tap another branch. The OvOs hop across if that branch is empty, or if its tip is the same colour and it has room. When a branch holds four OvOs of one colour they cheer and fly away, and you win once every branch is clear. Level 1 has three colours and a par of eight moves. Sleepy OvOs with a question mark arrive from level 11 and only show their colour when the OvO in front of them hops off, and from level 31 a spare empty branch is already grown. Every fifth level is a lighter CHILL level and every tenth a HARD one. You get three free Undos in every level, and there are 230 levels plus a daily puzzle.

Screw Crew: a 3D sort for players who like depth

Screw Crew sorts screws instead of balls. Pastel plates are stacked on a board and pinned with coloured screws. Tap a screw that nothing covers and it spins out into the open box of its colour. Two boxes are open at a time, each takes three screws, and a full box is carried off by its OvO. Screws with no open box wait in a tray with five slots, and a full tray ends the level. When a plate loses its last screw it drops away and shows the screws under it. You can drag to turn the board a little and peek between the layers; a tap never turns it. There are 200 levels with the same rhythm of lighter and harder levels. Hint, +Slot and Wrench cost tokens, and Restart is free.

Hexa Nest swaps tubes for a honeycomb. A tray offers three stacks of egg-tiles, and you drag one onto an empty cell (tap a stack, then a cell, works too). If a neighbour has the same top colour, the tiles flow across one by one, and every stack that changes is checked again, so one drop can set off a chain. A top group of ten or more tiles hatches into an OvO that flies to your goal counter. The level ends if no empty cell is left after a move, so the habit to learn is keeping a free cell or two. Level 1 asks for 60 hatched tiles on an open board. Twig nests start shaping the board from level 6, padlocked cells can appear from level 14, colour goals from level 20 and sleepy stacks from level 22. Nest Express sorts passengers. A crowd of OvOs stands in a square, and a vehicle of one colour waits on the street above it. Tap an OvO with a clear path to the top row and it walks out and boards if it matches and a seat is free. If not, it sits on the bench. A full vehicle drives off and the next one pulls in, and bench OvOs of its colour hop on first. The ride ends when the bench is full and no OvO that can walk out matches the vehicle, or when a VIP runs out of patience. The first three levels use minis with three seats, buses with six seats arrive at level 4 and double-deckers with nine can appear from level 8. Mystery OvOs in hoods appear from level 12, and the first crowned VIP on level 14. +Seat and Call 3 cost tokens, and Restart is free.
