Leagues in one paragraph

Every week you play in a group of 30 players from your league. You earn points simply by playing: stars on levels, daily challenges and scores all count, and you can earn them in any game. When the week ends, the top 10 in your group move up a league, the bottom 5 move down, and everyone else stays. Results arrive on Monday, and you receive OvO Token rewards for moving up or for staying in your league.

The six league tiers

There are six tiers, from first to highest: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Legend. If you have not played yet this week, play any game to join a Bronze group, and your points start counting right away.

Your league card shows your rank, how many points you are behind first place and how long the week has left. The standings are split into a promotion zone, a safe zone and a demotion zone, so you can see at a glance where you stand.

How to climb a league

Because points come from any game, consistency beats intensity. A few habits make a real difference over a week:

• Play the daily challenge each day, since daily challenges count toward league points.
• Aim for more stars on levels rather than racing through them; stars count too.
• Spread your play across the week instead of one long session, so you are never far behind the promotion zone.
• Check your league card near the end of the week to see how many points you need.

You do not need to be the best player in the group, only in the top 10 of 30.

Leaderboards: today, this week and all time

Leaderboards rank players by score in three time frames: Today, This week and All time. There is also an overall OvO Score. The top 5 players each day and each week win OvO Tokens, and the daily and weekly boards reset at 00:00 UTC.

Endless score games such as Hop Hop, Stack Tower and Egg Drop are natural leaderboard games, because every run produces a score you can try to beat. If you are in a different time zone, remember that the reset happens at midnight UTC, not your local midnight.

Fair play: why boosters never change your score

Fairness is built into both systems. Scores are checked on the OvO.games servers, and boosters such as hints, undos and shuffles never change a leaderboard score. Daily challenges use the same board for every player, so comparisons are direct.

That means you can use a booster to get past a difficult level without worrying that it is unfair to others, and you can trust that the scores above you were earned by play.

The Pass Weekly Tournament

OvO Pass members also have a Pass-only weekly tournament, where Pass members compete for prizes each week. It runs alongside the regular leagues rather than replacing them, so non-Pass players still have the full league and leaderboard experience.

Friends and your profile

Your player name is what your friends and league group see; you choose it when you start and can change it later. You can add friends with a friend code or by searching for a username. OvO.games has no chat, so competition stays about the games. Sign in with Apple or Google to keep your league progress and tokens on every device, on the web at ovo.games and in the app for iPhone, iPad and Android.
